Hannah Woodward, OD (Full Time Provider)
I earned my Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, and my Bachelor of Arts degree at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. I specialize in family health care with a special interest in pediatrics. I grew up right here in Unionville and went to Farmington High School and the Greater Hartford Academy of Math and Science. I love practicing optometry because it gives me the opportunity to build relationships with patients while helping them see better and protect their health.
My work has taken me on several; living in Boston, Santa Fe, and Denver (and a few other places in between!) After all of that exploring, I am incredibly excited to be back in my hometown and staying put. I love hiking, baking, and hanging out with my husband and our dog. I look forward to seeing you for your exam and getting to know you!
Ryan Trimble, OD (Practice Owner)
I’m a Doctor of Optometry that specializes in family health care. In 2001, I earned my Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. In 2005, my wife Meredith and I moved to Unionville, and started raising our two children. In 2013, I opened Union Eye Works. I’m very proud of my practice and my dedicated team who will work hard to take care of your eye care needs.
I grew up in Meadville PA, just outside Pittsburgh. Naturally, this makes me a big fan of all things Black and Gold. When I was little, I started playing soccer and continued to play through college. Today, I still play indoor soccer, and I also help out as the goalie coach for my daughter's youth team. I enjoy cooking and I’m an avid cyclist who frequently enjoys the Farmington bike trails.
Pauline Lour (Front Desk Associate)
I am the first point of contact at the office for our patients. When you call the office or walk in our front door, I will be the one greeting you and helping solve your problems. Whenever you need an appointment, need to place an order, or have any optical questions, I am here to help you or direct you to whoever can help you best. I look forward to meeting all the patients and getting to know you!
Raised in Burlington, I graduated from Lewis S. Mills high school. I spent three years at CCSU studying Elementary Education, and then I realized that I wanted to do something I really loved: cooking. I graduated from Lincoln Culinary Institute with a Culinary Arts degree and had been working in kitchens since. Working here at Union Eye Works is a change of pace, but I love the interaction that I get to have with all of our patients. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with my family!
